I learned this grungy ink and watercolor technique when I visited the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh last year. Great museum! Great city! Great artist! This is my second project using the technique and I am learning each time how to control the inky mess. Here is the first.
My fingers are ink covered in the end, but it’s good fun and I like the result. The watercolors are a mix of my palette windsor newtons and my new liquid Dr Ph Martins.
Now if only I could get off to the lake with my best gals for a few days. Will just have to live vicariously through the art.
