Horizon Farm, Plein Air Landscapes, Season 1
I started painting en plein air (French term for painting outdoors) in 2017. Even as I select a place to paint and set up my easel I can see that the light is changing, the clouds are moving, the weather is adjusting and the scene alters. It pushes an artist to work fast to capture a moment or feeling. I like chasing those moments.
Horizon Farm was painted where Barnard and Bridgewater meet, not too far from where I live.
The original is 12×12″ acrylic on board. It is framed in a simple warm gray frame. $350. Please email me to purchase.
