Bring your best friends or members of your family. Private Workshops for six are about trying new techniques, exploring ideas based on your personal experiences and interests and can be focused on a specific medium or theme.
OPTIONS include:
Abstracted Acrylic — using big brushes to loosen use your approach
Exploring Watercolors — try a variety of watercolor paints: liquids, pans, Japanese, paint stones… various prompts and techniques expand your ideas of what this media can do.
Flax Sculpture — learn techniques for working with flax fiber, wire and other materials to felt and create abstract or representational sculptures.
Creative Sketchbook — break free of fear of the blank page! Prompts, techniques and multi-media approaches to filling up your beautiful sketchbook and suggestions for making sketchbooking a regular practice.
Visible Mending — repair and mend your favorite clothes or add artful touches to a plain piece of clothing or a household item. Teaching can focus on repairing jeans or socks or woolen items (or a little of each).
Creative Living — a three hour session to use prompts and sessions of writing and art-making. You will leave with sketches, paintings and writings to keep growing your creativity.
