Golden Swallows
I made this series of swallows in early 2025 and hit upon the gold technique in the spring. A series of experiments led to mixing metallic powders with medium to create a highly gleaming gold that catches the light beautifully. Flax fiber, wire mesh, wire, metallic paint.
They are $125 each.
